Another Day of Adventure

Today being our 5th day was Exciting and Exhausting ... We started out @ 9 hoping to meet up with a family but because there's no signs or set time to meet for service and the meetin was cancelled for the zone meeting they never showed up...It was just the six of us and a group of 4 down the mts .. So we did door to door and some calls and then drove down the mt a bit and met the other group which had a sister name madalia who brought 27 people into the truth and a brother name roni that went to MS school and "So " an elder from Japan who is serving in EL RUBIO for 3 years he just completed his first year, very encouraging ...What a privilege it is to be working with a group, things we may take for granted as a congregation , like scheduled meeting times, service times, who's taking group out , and more, all these things need to be fine tuned, these New elders and servants are training the brothers in El Rubio to be more efficient !! They just put up a yearly text sign today so that was EXCITING for them and Jeffrey got to put up the KH sign for all to see what the times are for the meeting so anyone can attend , it was a challenge for him even thou as per pics it looked easy lol...Either way it was nice to be able to help out !!!In the afternoon I got to work with So and Angela we all did her study that was done 2 days ago the women with no legs we also studied with her 15 year old daughter they are very sweet and seem to luv learning the truth ..There is such incredible growth in this village , however we had no car to get there So drove Angela on his motorcuncho to her study then came back for me, I was soo nervous haven't been on a motorcycle since 16 lol but it worked out....By 3/4:00 we headed back the scenery is spectacular I'm looking at the mountains and realizing that's where we are preaching, it's like as Bill says " I'm stuck in a yearbook and can't get out" it's AMAZING you don't get tired of the views ,maybe the walking lol...One downfall are the Demon Bugs OMG I'm SOOOO itchy ...on an upside we got to pick this fruit candy called Tamarind from a tree ,it's a little bitter n sweet it looks like a pod it's a hard shell that u crack and peel and the candy is sticky they also make juice from it very Yummy...at first maddi doesnt like it as per pic but in the car she was eating them like crazy haha...
We headed for Santiago for our 2nd journey definitely different from the mountains ...Our apartment was not as expected A little run down some things didnt work and leaked but its roomy definitely need to buy water can't brush your teeth or drink the water here, but we'll make do..Glad we have good friends next door, they welcomed us back, and invited us to a party already lol.....tomorrow is the ZONE MEETING YAY ...Bye Ttus
